About Dr.Pratap
Engineer, scientist, spiritualist, naturalist, author, teacher, corporate trainer and consultant, Dr. Pratap Sriram Sundar, the Co-facilitator of this workshop wears many hats. With his versatility, sagacity and bubbling enthusiasm, he leaves an indelible impression on his workshop participants.
Dr. Sundar met a great number of scientists, Noble laureates, philosophers, saints, sages, yogis, gurus and god-men in the east and west in his early life. And he read innumerable books on science, spirituality, religion and literature. His insatiable spiritual thirst made him explore every source of knowing the ultimate truth and find a true meaning to life. He is an ardent explorer of Nature through science and gives lectures on it. Studying the heavenly skies with his Meade 200LX 10-inch telescope is his hobby. He is a member of Industrial Engineering Honor Society (Alpha Pi Mu), and The Scientific Research Society (Sigma Xi)
Dr. Sundar did his B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech in Industrial Engineering
and worked as an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Industrial Engineering
(NITIE), Mumbai for 9 years. He did his Ph.D. from Northeastern University, Boston.
Later he worked at Paraform, a Silicon Valley company in Santa Clara as Customer
Advocacy Manager and as Director of Manufacturing at Innovation Sports, Los
Angeles for 6 years.
He received training in Theory of Constraints from Dr. Eli Goldratt in Boston, and in
Axiomatic Design and Lean Manufacturing at Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT) in Cambridge, MA. He attended a workshop in Nanotechnology conducted by
National Science Foundation, Washington, DC. He visited more than 220 companies
and offered his services to about 50 companies in the last 30 years. He returned to
India for good and presently, he offers his training and consulting services in the
fields of industrial engineering, demand planning, scenario planning, supply chain
management, lean systems design, and six-sigma.His authority on both science and
spirituality enlightens and enthralls the audience.
